Situation
La gare d'Ajaccio est près du port, proche du centre
ville. Le bâtiment est d'origine, construit au 19e siècle. Elle
a de nombreuses dépendances. L'intérieur de la gare a été
rénové en 2023.
Depuis
2009 existe un service de banlieue entre Ajaccio et Mezzana. Quatre haltes ont
été crées ou modernisées pour ce service, les voici
dans l'ordre depuis Ajaccio : Les Salines ou I Salini, Ricantu, Cavone (ex Campo
dell'Oro), Effrico (Baleone). La gare de Caldaniccia
est en chantier en 2023 pour la réouvrir aux voyageurs.

Ajaccio station is near the city centre and the harbour. The building was
made at the beginning of the railway, in XIX th century. It has a lot of secondary
buildings. The interior was refurbished in 2023.
Since
2009, suburban service runs between Ajaccio and Mezzana. Four stopping places
were created or modernized for this service, from Ajaccio to Mezzana : Les
Salines or I Salini, Ricantu, Cavone (ex Campo dell'Oro), Effrico (Baleone). The
Caldaniccia
station will be reopened for passengers, in 2023 works are in progress.
