La gare de Mezzana est la première gare en activité
au nord d'Ajaccio, située à 12 km d'Ajaccio. Elle comporte un
guichet actif, une salle d'attente, et plusieurs voies de garage. Depuis
2009 existe un service de banlieue entre Ajaccio et Mezzana. Quatre haltes ont
été crées ou modernisées pour ce service, les voici
dans l'ordre depuis Ajaccio : Les Salines ou I Salini, Ricantu avec un nouvel
évitement, Cavone (ex Campo
dell'Oro), Effrico (Baleone).
Un parking a été aménagé
en 2010 de l'autre côté des voies. En effet le bâtiment
voyageurs est au bord de la route sans espace de stationnement suffisant
pour permettre de troquer sa voiture pour le train.
En 2024 /
2025, d'importants travaux de modernisation sont en cours, en particulier
pour l'installation de la CCVU (commande centralisée de voie
unique : commande informatisée des circulations).
Mezzana
station is the first in activity at North of Ajaccio, situated at 12 km from
Ajaccio. With a waiting room, a booking-office, and some sidings. Since
2009, suburban service runs between Ajaccio and Mezzana. Four stopping places
were created or modernized for this service, from Ajaccio to Mezzana : Les
Salines or I Salini, Ricantu with a new siding, Cavone (ex Campo dell'Oro), Effrico (Baleone).
A
car park has been built in 2010 on the other side of the tracks
because the station is along the main road without enough place
to park the cars and going on the trains.
In 2024 / 2025, important
works are in progress, specially to put in service the CCVU (computerized
system to regulate the traffic)
