Situation

La gare de Bastia est à l'extrémité nord du réseau. C'est la plus grande du réseau. La surface de son terrain a été réduite de moitié en 1980 pour installer les nouveaux bâtiments administratifs du département de la Haute Corse.
La gare actuelle est la troisième. La première a été détruite en 1943 par un bombardement. La deuxième a été démolie par un attentat en 1976. Puis fut construite l'actuelle intégrée au nouvel immeuble de la direction.
Elle comporte une zone avec les quais pour le départ des trains de voyageurs, une zone de garage des trains, le nouvel immeuble au centre, et au sud-ouest des remises datant de l'origine du réseau.
Autrefois, une voie allait jusqu'au port. Des autorails donnaient correspondance aux bateaux. Des trains de marchandises étaient chargés sur les quais.

The Bastia station is at North end of the network. It is the greatest one of this network. Its yard was half cut down in 1980 to create the new administration buildings of the Haute Corse department.
The station building is the third one. The first one was destroyed by war bombing in 1943. The second one was pull down by explosion attempt in 1976. Then the present one was integrated in the new management building.
The Bastia station has a zone with passenger platforms, a place with sidings to garage the trains, the new building in the middle, and at South-West there are sheds built at the beginning of the railway.
In the past, a track was going to the harbour. Railcars was connecting with ships. Goods were loaded on trains at the wharfs.
