Cet arrêt a été ouvert à la suite
d'une demande formulée par le Conseil Général du département
de Corse
en août 1894. Il est donc très ancien. Il est au point kilométrique
18 + 335 depuis Bastia et à environ 2,7 km au nord de la
gare de Casamozza, le long de la route D210 (chemin de Mezzana).
Il est à côté et juste au sud du passage à niveau n°
13 sur la route D107 (route de la Canonica). Sur l'ex-maison
de garde-barrière, on voit toujours l'ancien numéro
6. Il est sur le territoire de la commune de Lucciana. C'est le
point d'arrêt le plus près de l'aéroport de
Bastia-Poretta, à environ 4,5 km.
Il n'y
a pas de voie de croisement. Avant la modernisation récente,
cet arrêt avait un abri en maçonnerie recouvert de
tuiles, un parking non revêtu de quelques places et un panneau
de type SNCF marqué "Lucciana" comme on en a installé
des centaines dans les gares françaises lors des années
1980.
En 2016/2017 le quai a été allongé, mieux éclairé,
on y a installé 3 abris vitrés. Le parking a été agrandi
et goudronné. On a allongé le nom en Lucciana l'Olivella
certainement pour ne pas créer de confusion avec le nouvel
arrêt Lucciana Complexe Sportif.
Deux ponts sont à 500 m au nord de la gare, un qui
donne passage au-dessus des voies à la route D507 (route
de l'Aéroport) ) et un pont en maçonnerie plus étroit bâti
à l'origine du réseau, non utilisé actuellement.
This stopping-place was opened after a request
of the Departmental Assembly of Corsica in August 1894. So it is
a very old stop. It is at Kilometer Point 18 + 135 from Bastia and
at 2,7 km north of Casamozza station, along D210 road (chemin
de Mezzana). It is very close at south of n°13 level crossing
on D107 road (route de la Canonica : a very beautiful roman church).
On the former gate-keeper house, you can always see the old n°6
number. This stop is on Lucciana city territory. It is the closest
stop from the Bastia-Poretta airport, at about 4,5 km.
It has no siding.
Before the recent refurbishing, this stopping-place had a masonry
shelter with a tiled roof, a non tarred car-park with few places
and a SNCF type plate with Lucciana wrote on it, of the same type
that was put in many French station in 1980 years.
In 2016/2017
the platform was lengthened, the public lights improved, and 3 glassed
shelters was built. The car-park was enlarged and tarred. The name
was lengthened in Lucciana l'Olivella certainly to avoid confusion
with the new stopping place named Lucciana Complexe Sportif.
There
are 2 bridges at 500 m at north of the station, one giving way to the airport
(route de l'Aéroport - D507) passing over the track and an
old narrow masonry bridge built at the beginning of the railway,
now not in use.
